Overview

`landing_christmas` is a focused front-end exercise: one page, one theme, and a lot of motion. The goal was to make a small site feel deliberate and alive.

Why I kept this project

I keep small visual experiments like this in the portfolio because they show a different side of how I work. Not every project needs complex backend logic; sometimes the challenge is mood, pacing, and making a page memorable.

What I built

  • Intro and overlay sequences for a stronger first impression.
  • Decorative sections and typography-driven holiday presentation.
  • A lighter-weight React and Vite setup for quickly iterating on animation ideas.

Technical details

  • React and Vite for fast iteration.
  • GSAP-based animation work for staged transitions and motion timing.
  • Tailwind CSS for styling the sections and layout system.
  • Audio and marquee elements to reinforce the seasonal theme.

Design focus

The main goal was to make motion feel intentional instead of decorative. The overlay, intro timing, and section transitions all try to create a sequence rather than a static page with effects bolted on.

Current status

This is a compact side project, but it is useful in the portfolio because it shows visual experimentation separate from product and backend work.
